Byron Ibarra
Byron didn’t grow up in pool service. He spent years in the medical field — a steady, well-paying career that most people would call a finish line.
He walked away from it in 2016. Not because the work was bad, but because something in him needed to build something of his own. That instinct turned into Ibarra Pools.
A decade later, the medical training hasn’t gone to waste. The same precision, attention to detail, and respect for getting things right the first time is poured into every pool he services across the Coachella Valley.
THE STORY
From medical scrubs to pool gear
PRE-2016
A career that didn’t fit
Byron worked in the medical field with a stable income and a clear path forward. But entrepreneurship was always pulling at him — the desire to build, to own the outcome, to serve people directly.
2016
The bet on himself
Byron left the medical field and started Ibarra Pools with a single van and a commitment: every pool would be treated like it was his own.
2016–2020
Learning the desert
Coachella Valley pools aren’t like other pools. Hard water, calcium scale, 115° heat, monsoon dust — Byron studied every challenge the desert throws at a pool and built service routines specifically for the conditions here.
2020–2022
Built through the storm
When most service businesses contracted during the pandemic, Ibarra Pools kept showing up. Pools didn’t stop needing care. Customers didn’t stop counting on us. We came out the other side stronger and more trusted.
2026
Ten years in the desert
What started with one van is now a family-run operation serving all 11 cities of the Coachella Valley — residential homes, vacation rentals, and property managers — with the same standard Byron set on day one.
